In the new realm of Internet marketing, visibility and search ranking are two items that one needs to be fully aware of, since enhanced visibility and good rankings make for greater clicks by web users and profits for sites that sell their products or services.

Currently, there is a lot of misinformation lingering on the Net regarding Search Engine Optimization or Bristol SEO and marketing, therefore it is imperative that customers and web users get to have some facts laid out clearly, in order to prevent tripping on a lot of errors and misconceptions. Here are some of those common misconceptions about Bristol SEO’s.

* Not Enough Link Popularity.

Some search engines make almost every attempt to qualify the results which are laid out in search results. They try to do this is by tracking the number and quality of the incoming links to a web site. A website with a huge number of incoming links from quality sites is given a higher ranking in search results with regards to Bristol SEO.

This is an important factor to consider, and is sometimes over-looked by those attempting to market web sites. Bristol SEO service providers and link services that promise to link your site to thousands of other sites are far from productive; in fact they can sometimes do more harm than good. Most search engines these days consider services like this to be spam, so-called “link farming” and often give sites with these types of links a low ranking or drop them all-together from the search results.

* Lack of Research On Effective Keywords

If you have a web site, it would be important to ask yourself “Do I know what pages in my site are generating the most interest? Do you know what terms people are searching for that would lead them to finding your site? Let’s cite an example. You own a web site that sells jelly beans, and so you spend some money on paid search advertising, and logically; you assume that the key phrase “jelly bean” is a prime candidate to target.

So, what happens after? Usually one of two things. First, the term jelly bean is such a popular search term that probably twenty million other web sites are competing for the same key phrase. Second, the term jelly bean is so unpopular that it’s unlikely that it’s searched for more than once in this lifetime. Proper keyword research can solve these problems

* Putting Too Much Emphasis on Design, and Bristol SEO later

Most often, even experienced web designers fail to consider the results of design decisions on Bristol SEO until it’s too late. So what’s the point of spending thousands of dollars for a well “designed” web site if nobody even sees it, or clicks on it? One needs to consult with a Bristol SEO specialist early in the design process, even if your web site marketing strategy relies too much on paid search advertising. Consulting with a professional Bristol SEO expert first may expose flaws in your site’s layout.

* Splash Pages May Look Nice, But Are They That Effective?

Most often we see entry pages that instruct the user to “Enter”, which are usually decorated with a large graphic or a flash animation. The index page of a web site is the one that search engines read first, and more often than not the only readable content on this type of page is a link that says, “skip intro”. The notion is that splash pages lack indexable content, and generally contain no links and often contain a “redirect” to the real home page. Search engines generally hate redirects, for they want the real thing. It would be best to avoid splash pages unless you aren’t serious about being found by search engines.

Relying Too Heavily On Pay Per Click

For many small and medium-sized businesses, trying to compete in the internet marketplace simply becomes overwhelming. While paid search advertising is a highly effective means of targeting an audience, organic search optimization greatly increases the chances of success for any web site. Ensure that the site you are advertising is one that people can easily locate without the assistance of a paid search advertising campaign, which sometimes could be real costly.

Why Backlinks Are Important For Your Website’s Search Engine Ranking

Like any investment, your website must start turning a profit as early as possible, and pulling the search engines is a critical component. There are several tools your site can use to get these rankings:

1.Search-engine optimized text
2.Fresh content frequently
3.Links to your site from high-profile websites
4.Traffic to and from your site

The first two are all about how you put your web site together and subsequently work with it. The last one quality inbound links has nothing at all to do with your site, and if you work it properly, can give you both great rankings and pull in a surprising amount of traffic from sites other than search engines.

Once you start building up your traffic, your search engine ratings will stabilize, and your site will slowly grow. It’s a lot like starting a car it takes a lot of energy to get it going, but once it’s running it only takes maintenance energy.

Article Submissions Services: Getting Those Inbound Links

Most people don’t know where to start with inbound links. Do you just email webmasters and ask? Buy advertising? Or do you offer your own site up as a link farm, encouraging your hard-won customers to visit someone else?

None of these are the best bet (though emailing webmasters, over time, is a good additional strategy). The best way you can get great inbound links is by using an article submission service.

These services use article directories, large online repositories of articles donated by webmasters like you, to build backlinks to your site. Each article you donate contains a resource box that points back to your website, in whatever format you desire. And you can donate the same article to hundreds of article directories.

You can do this yourself. But article submissions services know how to find the best directories, and have specialists who can enter your information in the often-tedious and time-consuming directories forms. It may be a better expenditure of your time to focus on that great content and building your business in other ways, while leaving the submissions to experts who can do it cheaply, efficiently, and properly.

Article submissions services understand the search engines and how they examine links, and can use this knowledge to benefit you. And because you can expect the search engines to change their methodology about every four to six months, with major changes every year and a half to a year, these services will always have the most up-to-date information on the best way to use links to enhance your placement.

While you may be able to build your website ranking yourself, it’s often better to seek help from people who have done it for years, at least the first few times you submit a site. Article submission services are your perfect ally when you’re chasing search engine rankings.

Appropriate Linking

There are only so many directories you can submit to, of course. Once you have maxed out your directory submission, you can start looking for webmasters to trade links with. There are a few things you should seek out in this case. Your link partners should be suitable for you, and you should be right for them as well. You should trade up as much as you can; look for pages with good rankings themselves. Don’t trade with a competitor; if you sell similar merchandise or if you’re both close together using the same keyword phrase, you should trade with someone else.

But link trading only works once your site has been built up in the search engines. Few webmasters are willing to trade links with a low-ranking site (would you?). For the quickest rankings boost, and for a great foundation that you can really start to work from, use mass articles submissions. It will set you apart and above your competition.

Everyone knows that top ranked sites get a lot of traffic, BUT is that because they are top ranked or is it because they get a lot of traffic that makes them top ranked?

Which comes first the Chicken or the Egg?

The eternal question, heres a way to answer it, in relation to Search Engines anyway

First, the major Search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN, all have different formulas for calculating how they rank a site and these formulas are always changing so its impossible to know exactly how to optimize a site for top ranking all the time.

One thing is fairly certain though and it doesnt matter if this changes or not because the means of achieving a top rank will on its own, provide more traffic than we would get from a top ranking position anyway! Im talking about INCOMING LINKS.

Ive seen Log reports from a site ranked consistently in the top 5 positions on all major search engines, which show that less then 20% of all traffic is coming from the search engines, and the rest is coming from incoming and reciprocal links.

To learn more about incoming and reciprocal links go here

Incoming links are links from other sites and pages that send people to our site.
Reciprocal links; are links from our site to someone elses and a link from them back to our site.

Having a large numbers of reciprocal and incoming links is good because while giving us more traffic it also makes us rank highly in search engines. As explained above it doesnt matter if we dont rank so well in the search engines, because we have more traffic from the incoming and reciprocal links anyway. So more traffic better rank, better rank more traffic, its perpetual motion!
If you would like to see how Alexa determines ranking heres a quote from their site.

The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and is a combined measure of page views and users (reach).

(Taken from: http://pages.alexa.com/prod_serv/traffic_learn_more.html )

“Search Engine Importance
Almost all net users search for solutions and information by using search engines. With search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask Jeeves, and AOL Search, its difficult to think of any other way of finding information on the internet.

Before search engines and the internet, it was not so easy to get information. Today, search engines can instantly return uncannily accurate results instantly from a selection of millions of websites.

Search engines are able to catalog these sites using either crawler-based technology or human powered directories. Before October of 2002, Yahoos directory was entirely indexed by hand. Now its mainly only small portal sites that build their directories by hand based on human judgment.

The large search engines like Google use web crawlers that crawl through the internet indexing the content on the pages. Each time they encounter a link, the crawler splits and another crawls through the linked site.

Google is a pioneer in crawler-based technology. Its crawlers, called Googlebots, spider the web constantly and harvest web pages for the input of the main Google database. Once crawlers return the information, Google uses their patented complex algorithms to make judgments about how a site should rank.

Search engine optimization (Manchester SEO) is the process of designing web pages that fit the criteria that search engines weigh when deciding whether a page is relevant to a search query. Those that match the search most accurately, rank at the top of search result pages. Building or rebuilding your site with Manchester SEO in mind can and will improve your search ranking when handled and maintained by a knowledgeable expert.

Sites that meet critical search engine criteria will rank higher than those who don’t. Aside from a very lucky guess, optimizing pages for search engines is the only way to ensure that your pages have top page of visibility. As access to Manchester SEO knowledge becomes more accessible, competition for the top rankings will become even fiercer. 411webinteractive, a search engine marketing company, offers personalized Manchester SEO solutions for websites. Its Manchester SEO application has been developed for maximum effectiveness without sacrificing design the of a website. It also ensures that your website is accessed by all search engines. Revising Your Site, What Happened To My Search Engine Placement?

As of September, Smartads went through what so many have done before. I changed the entire site. I knew what it meant. It means that your search engine placements your probably so proud of are probably going to be lost in the process.

Sad but true. See, search engines are getting smarter, not only are they getting smarter but they do what you do. When you change a design, se’s change your listings!

Typically you change it for a couple of reasons.

1) You don’t like the design anymore

2) You’ve learned knew tips on how to optimize your site better for search engine placements.

3) Your revising your services

Whatever it may be, you’re changing something. Now it won’t happen right away but eventually, if your site already has a good search engine ranking, then search engines will find out what you’ve done and follow a process.

But “se’s” aren’t human? That’s correct but they were built by humans. Most se programmers realize that eventually something changes and since they want their search engine to be the best, they try to recognize your changes right away but there’s only one problem.

What do they do with the listings you have right now? Well, let’s say for instance you are attempting to change everything for the better.

Now let’s also say that you HAD a page title called “good rank”.

Search engine’s previously knew and still think that your page is all about “good rank”. Moving along, your new page information is about “Getting a better rank”. Your old placements are now wrong in the eye’s of search engines. They now realize that something has changed. So what are they going to do?

Dump your old listings and start over! Ouch is right. So why would you ever want to change your site if that’s the case?

Well here’s some food for thought: Yes, you may loose your existing rankings but your roots are growing. Your new pages are growing bigger and better than before, it just takes a small transitional period to take effect.

For instance, within Google, Smartads had over 580 pages found when looking at all the links listed in Google. Since we changed the entire site, there was a 2 day period where none of our links were listed anymore. Normally, this would have scared me right away if I didn’t know that my site had changed.

Not 4 days later, not only where my pages back but the old rotten pages that weren’t being used anymore got dumped and the many new pages got listed. Around 680 pages now. That was a jump of around 100 pages that got added. < Cause and effect. >

Here’s another example for you. Most of us know about link popularity within Google. You’ve put all your effort into promoting your main page. All of the links that you’ve had placed on other sites have a link title of: “Great Ranking Services”. Once google saw your link, it started looking to see whether your information on your site is relevant to “Great Ranking Services” and awarded you appropriately.

Moving along a little, you’ve not only changed your site but you’ve also changed your link title to better fit the new content. The new link you now add on other sites reads something like this: “Boost Your Search Engine Rankings”.

Before you changed your site, you got a GREAT rank for “Great Ranking Services” when people did a search online.

Here’s the catch. Now that your promoting a new site, a new page, new content within your page, the old content relavance goes straight down the drain. Search engines have recognized that everything has changed and are not paying any attention to your old links anymore. Yes, they still help your link popularity, but they don’t help your content relevance.

See, search engines are consistently trying to improve their content relevance. That’s what people want. If they search “gidgets & widgets”, they expect to get the best results for “gidgets & widgets”.

In Conclusion:

If you plan on changing your site, be prepared to suffer for a small amount of time. Prepare yourself for the worst because the best is yet to arise and prevail.

I understand that we all want better search engine rankings and just be ready to do what ever it takes, even if it means loosing your old se placements for some newer, fresher ones.

PPC vs Natural Search A Cost Comparison Case Study

The attraction of Pay Per Click (PPC) online advertising is undeniable. Each click costs virtually nothing, you only pay for the clicks you get, and you set your own daily budget so you know exactly how much youre going to spend. Most importantly, your listing appears instantly.

On the other hand, a high ranking in the natural search results seems unobtainable. Theres a perception that hundreds of thousands of other businesses are competing for your keywords, and that makes it seem like a real rat-race. And it also seems like such a big mountain to climb; its true that it can take months to reach the first page for your target keywords. To make matters worse, thousands of opportunistic (and some very dodgy) Bristol SEO companies have emerged, looking to make a quick and big buck out of market naivety. So to CEOs, BDMs, marketing managers, webmasters, and business owners, the road to natural search ranking seems expensive, risky, and beset with traffic.

But does this mean you should forget natural search?

Definitely not!

Firstly, most user studies to date have found that people pay more attention to natural search results because theyre more relevant. Thats the foundation of the success of companies like Google and Yahoo (and the reason they keep their indexing rules a secret).

Whats more, its important to put things in perspective. Hundreds of thousands of other businesses may be competing for your keywords, but in most cases, theyre at least as confused and disheartened as you. So the sooner you figure out the real story, the sooner youll have the jump on them.

And yes, it can take a while to reach the top, but because your competition is for the most part traveling blind, your early progress will normally be quite quick. In fact, for most businesses, its not until you reach the top few pages that your progress will slow.

And again yes, there ARE some dodgy Bristol SEO companies out there. But there are also some very good ones. (Go to WebProNews.com and sign up to a forum if you want to find out who they are.) So long as you know the basics of Bristol SEO you wont be taken for a ride. (See Bristol SEO for CEOs for a rundown of Bristol SEO basics in laypersons terms.)

But lets talk bottom line

Is it more expensive to obtain a high ranking?

Certainly not! In comparison with other forms of advertising even PPC in the long run reaching the top of the rankings is NOT expensive. The following case study explains why.

CASE STUDY

For the past year, Ive been working hard on the natural search results for my copywriting business, Divine Write. For my primary keyword, Im now on page 1 of Google.com (out of approximately 900,000 search results). Ive done this simply by writing helpful articles and submitting them for publication on the Internet. Luckily for me, Im an Bristol SEO copywriter, so writing articles is all in a days work. But had I paid an Bristol SEO copywriter to write my articles for me, Id have spent approximately USD$5,000.

Over the same period, I spent approximately USD$3,000 on Google AdWords (my ads appeared towards the top of the paid listings).

Now I hear what youre saying; my natural search campaign definitely cost more in the first year than my AdWords campaign. But now that Ive reached the top of Google.com, Ive paused all my AdWords ads, so Im not paying anything. If I hadnt chased the natural search results, Id have continued paying for AdWords, spending at least another USD$3,000 next year on AdWords, and another USD$3,000 the year after that, and so on.

Of course, I have to retain my high ranking. If I was paying someone to write my articles, that would involve an investment of approximately USD$1,000 per year (a saving of 67% each year).

So it breaks down like this:

Google AdWords investment: 2 yrs = $6,000, 3 yrs = $9,000, 4 yrs = $12,000, 5 yrs = $15,000

Natural search investment: 2 yrs = $6,000, 3 yrs = $7,000, 4 yrs = $8,000, 5 yrs = $9,000

Conclusion

Obviously the competition for keywords in the copywriting field isnt as fierce as in a lot of other industries, so the actual dollar investment discussed in this case study may not apply directly to your business. The important thing to understand is that over time a high ranking in the natural search results can actually cost less than a high position in the (arguably less effective) paid listings.

Also, these figures are based on me submitting articles to various article banks on the Internet myself. (This is a routine task requiring little skill. You should be able to purchase a list of 50 or more article submit sites from your Bristol SEO copywriter or consultant for as little as USD$99.)

With the advent of search engines, there have been users who have used ways and means to achieve high search engine rankings. In the beginning, these search engine techniques were fairly simple, such as stuffing hidden tags with keywords or using invisible text on pages. As the search engines caught on to these tactics, the techniques used to achieve high search engine ranking evolved into more sophisticated methodologies.

What is overlooked is the fact that the search engines have established ranking criteria based upon extensive study of their users. In most cases, the sites that do not have high search engine ranking are not giving the visitor what the search engine rule book has deemed important. Unless they have the awareness to know what search engine users want, how could a web designer or business owner expect to do better?

In short, put informative content on your pages. Your search engine techniques shouldn’t center on taking an existing site and changing it as little as possible for the sole purpose of achieving high search engine rankings- rather it should center around making whatever changes are necessary to directly address the interests of your visitors. ‘The Visitor is King. – keep that in mind when working on your website, and the search engines are sure to reward you with high search engine rankings.

For high search engine ranking you also need to make sure that your website gets fully indexed. There are two main ways to ensure that your site is spider friendly and that the relevancy is added. The first is to place text links at the bottom of your homepage to your main internal pages. The second is to create a sitemap to all your internal pages and link to it from your homepage.

Remember, all major search engines give credit to sites that have quality links pointing to them. How many is enough depends on your industry and targeted phrases. The first place to seek links is with topic-specific directories. After that you may want to move into reciprocal link building. Some webmasters will simply link to any website that links back to them. But we advise you to link to relevant sites only

If your web designer is unable to show high rankings for your site, its time to change hands. Search engine optimization (Manchester SEO) specialists bring you effective solutions to give your site high search engine ranking. Find a specialist with a good track record and reap the results.

The methods employed to increase your search engine rankings may seem like rocket science to you, so you have probably avoided dealing with this issue. I am here to tell you – the time has come to face your website! A high search engine ranking for your website is so essential that if you have the slightest desire to actually succeed in your business, there is no way you can continue to avoid this issue.

At least 85% of people looking for goods and services on the Internet find websites through search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The idea of optimizing your pages for high search engine rankings is to attract targeted customers to your site who will be more than likely to make a purchase. The higher your page comes up in search engine results, the greater the traffic that is directed to your website. That’s what search engine optimization is about.

You can immerse yourself in all the technical information available online to figure out how to optimize your web pages to achieve higher rankings. Or you can look at a few simple items on your pages, make some small adjustments, and most likely see improved rankings quite rapidly. The first item you should examine is the title bar on your homepage.
The title bar is the colored bar at the top of the page. Look at the words that appear there when you access your home page. To increase search engine rankings, the words on your homepage’s title bar should include the most important keywords or phrases, one of which would include your company name.

Then click on all your links and examine the title bars on the pages you access. Each title bar on every single page of your site should contain the most important keywords and phrases taken from the page itself. However, avoid very long strings of keywords, keeping them to six words or less. Avoid repeating keywords more than once in the title bars, and make sure that identical words are not next to each other.

The next item to put under your microscope is your website content. Search engines generally list sites that contain quality content rather than scintillating graphics. The text on your site must contain the most important keywords – the words that potential customers will be typing into search engines to find your site.

Aim to have around 250 words on each page, but if this is not desirable due to your design, aim for at least 100 carefully chosen words. If you want to achieve a high ranking on search engines, this text is essential. However, the search engines must be able to read the text, meaning that the text must be in HTML and not graphic format.

To find out if your text is in HTML format, take your cursor and try to highlight a word or two. If you are able to do this, the text is HTML. If the text will not highlight, it is probably in graphic form. In this case, ask your webmaster to change the text into HTML format in order to increase your search engine rankings.

Next we come to what is called meta tags. I know this sounds like something out of science fiction, but it is really just simple code. Many people believe that meta tags are the key to high search engine rankings, but in reality, they only have a limited effect. Still, it’s worth adding them in the event that a search engine will use meta tags in their ranking formula.

To find out if your page is set up with meta tags, you must access the code. To do this, click the “view” button on the browser menu bar, and select “source.” This will pull up a window revealing the underlying code that created the page. If there are meta tags, they usually appear near the top of the window. For example, a meta tag would read: meta name=”keywords” content=. If you do not find code that reads like this, ask your webmaster to put them in. This may not do much for your search engine rankings, but any little boost helps.

Lastly, we come to the issue of link popularity. This is a factor that is extremely important in terms of search engine rankings. Almost all search engines use link popularity to rank your website. Link popularity is based on the quality of the sites you have linked to from your links page.

If you type in “free link popularity check” in a popular search engine, the search engine will then show you what sites are linked to your site. In the case that there aren’t many sites linked up to yours, or that the sites that are linked up have low search engine rankings, consider launching a link popularity campaign. Essentially, this entails contacting quality sites and requesting that they exchange links with your site. Of course, this requires checking out the rankings of the websites you want to link up with. Linking to popular, quality sites not only boosts your search engine ranking, but it also directs more quality traffic to your website.

Search engine rankings are extremely important for a successful Internet marketing campaign. Before you go out and hire a search engine optimization company, try taking some of the simple steps listed above, and see if you can’t boost your rankings yourself. Don’t ever ignore this all-important factor in Internet marketing. Remember, the higher your search engine ranking, the more quality customers will be directed your way.

Search engine rankings are an important factor to consider when you have a website that needs more traffic. If your website doesnt have a good position in the rankings then no-one will find it, so you need to make sure that your website is ranked highly enough to be seen. The other important quality to getting high traffic to your site is having a nice arsenal of links. The more links that you have to your site the more traffic you will get, but also, the more links to your site the more search engines like your site. Keeping a nice supply of links pointing at your site requires similar precautions and practices as getting high search engine listings.

Although no Leeds SEO company can guarantee a high ranking for your site, here are some tips for raising your search engine ranking. Using these tips will not get you to the top unless your site is the best out there, but they will at least put you into the positioning that you truly deserve. After all, the internet is basically a free market. You will naturally flow into the place that you deserve and many search engines try to insure that you do not rise above or fall below this position. This is why they are so strict, and this is why you must keep yourself on good terms with them.

1) Content is an important factor in high search engine rankings. Make sure that you have plenty of content throughout your site with your target keywords in the articles. Its also worth doing a search for websites similar to yours and taking a look at their articles for ideas. The more content you have the better. It is generally a good idea to have between three hundred and five hundred words per page, but more important than a quantity of content is the quality of the content that you are providing. You cannot just put out three hundred words of jargon and expect your visitors to find it interesting and stick around for the long haul.

2) Your websites URL can help you rank higher with the search engines if it contains your keywords. However, dont think that naming your site after your keywords will always help your rankings you need to do more than just that.

3) Search terms should be written out in text, instead of graphics. If you do use pictures, be sure to give them alt tags. The alt tags in your pictures are almost as important as text. Its also a good idea to put some of your key words in links to other pages. In the eyes of a search engine it is almost as good to have a link to a page full of the content that the visitor is looking for as it is to have the content that the visitor is looking for on your page. If a visitor is looking for something that you are linking to and he or she finds your page, they may look around your site on the way through.

4) The title of your page is very important, and making sure that you choose it wisely will make a big difference. Terms such free article on safe children’s toys, or contact the children’s toy expert today are good to use as titles, for example they would get you a high ranking. The title area is the most important place to include your keyword phrases, so make sure that you put them all in.

5) The navigation menu that appears on each page of your website should include your pages title.

6) Dont just use the most popular keyword phrases the market is so competitive that you should be sure to include some niche keywords too.

7) Make sure that you dont have a lot of irrelevant links on your site. The more closely related to your site your links are, the better your chances of being ranked in a higher position.

You need to periodically update the content of your website, even if its only a slight change, as websites like sites that are kept updated.

9) You need to consider the fact most search engines dont like automatic submissions or multiple submissions submit once, manually.

10) Always be on the look out for Leeds SEO news staying up to date and using the latest techniques will help you stay one step ahead of your competition.

10 Quick Things You Can Do Today To Improve Your Search Ranking

You know all that extra time you have to work on Search Engine Optimization? [A little sarcasm there] Actually, I tried to put together a list of quick things you can do that will help you move a little higher in your Google or Yahoo results.

1. Get listed in more search engines. There are tons of them out there. There are also many free services that will help you get listed. Or just set aside some time to get it done yourself. Here is a free search engine submission site that will let you cycle through the top 100 search engines and get your site submitted.

2. Get listed in more directories. Again, there are a lot of them out there. Look for higher pagerank directories. Improvingrank.com has some listed by pagerank. Look on the left side of the homepage.

3. Clean up your html and check your links. You want the bots to have smooth sailing through your site. Use the tools on W3c.org and have a real person check them over too.

4. Get a few more links to your site. Make them relevant and at least the same pagerank as you.

5. Make your page filenames descriptive and keyword rich. Naming your page new_page_1.html is wasting an opportunity to do some Manchester SEO. Use names that describe the content and keep the keywords flowing.

6. Check your Title tags. You can use 90 – 100 characters in the title, so add some keywords. We know Google looks at them, and so do many more search engines.

7. Check your ALT tags. Searchbots cant see pictures. Make sure you have ALT tags on all of your pictures, and make sure they are descriptive and keyword rich.

8. Rewrite your URL (anchor) tags. Good anchor tags (the text between the http: and /a tags) reinforce the message and key words of your site.

9. Go post in a few forums and put your website in your signature. Forums are a great place to put one way links. And you can help somebody out at the same time.

10. Put together a text based sitemap and put it on your site. Theres a lot of navigation that spiders cant understand, such as flash, forms, java and javascript. Putting together a text-based sitemap gives the bots a way to navigate around the site.

Fifteen minutes every couple of days will make a huge difference in getting your rank higher.
